George Saleeby is currently the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Swing-Lo Suspended Scaffold Company in Covert, Michigan. Prior to taking over the helm at Swing-Lo, George was an International Marketing and Trade Representative with the State of Michigan, requiring extensive travel to the Republic of Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Liberia and Nigeria. He also served as Corporate Representative to Trade Conferences, and completed special projects throughout the United States, Canada, Africa and the Middle East. George also worked for Hartford Insurance Company in Troy, Michigan as well as Motorola Cellular Products in Arlington Heights, Illinois, where he was Production Manager in the Cellular Products Division.

 

George serves on the Kinexus Board of Directors where he holds the Secretary position and is Chairman of the Impact Committee. George is also a member of the Covert Township Lions Club, where he has held several leadership positions, including serving as a past President for four years.

George Hney Saleeby was born and raised in Liberia, West Africa. After graduating from high school, he came to the United States on an academic scholarship, attending Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. George holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Andrews University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Western Michigan University. He also holds several certifications in specialized areas of business and organizational leadership.

 

George and his wife, Miriam Diane Leonard live in Benton Harbor. They have three children and two grandchildren. George enjoys sports with a special admiration for soccer, a sport he has played and coached throughout his life. He enjoys gardening, where he is trying to grow the hottest peppers known to man while canning and labeling his own brand of flavored hot pepper sauce. George also enjoys fishing and playing competitive Dominoes.
