The Career Development Conference (CDC) is going virtual! Each spring, Jobs for Michigan’s Graduates (JMG) youth use the skills learned in the program in a series of competitive events, with awards going to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Always a highlight, the CDC also recognizes and celebrates our Youth and Alumni of the Year. Nominated by their peers or Specialists, these exemplary youth are leaders among their peers and embody the purpose and mission of Youth Solutions. This year’s event is virtual and runs throughout April, culminating with the Award Ceremony and special guest speaker the first week in May.
We are honored that Dr. Omekongo Dibinga, youth motivational speaker and diversity educator, is our keynote speaker this year. Dr. Dibinga will deliver his powerful message which is part speech, part poetry, and part call to action for youth to plan, prepare and set goals because everything is within reach if you have a plan.
