Our annual giving campaign, Fund the Future, is focused on the experiences and opportunities for skills development we provide through our annual youth-focused events.
Can we count on your contribution to Fund the Future?
We ask for YOUR help in Making a Difference by Funding the Future to raise $35,000 in support of Michigan's youth. Our Fund the Future annual campaign begins on the global day of generosity, #GivingTuesday, November 29 and ends January 15.
Your donations help Michigan’s youth gain valuable life experiences that will help them succeed in education, employment, and in life.

YOU can help youth like Charley and Jada build their confidence and give them the courage to succeed!

We invite YOU to Fund the Future!

What if attending one event could change the life of a youth?
Through our three annual youth focused events, Career Development Conference, Legislative Days and Leadership Days, we are able to provide youth unforgettable experiences and opportunities for skills development needed to help shape their futures.

Career Development Conference
The Career Development Conference (CDC) highlights workplace skills and knowledge, such as creative problem solving, interview skills, and career preparation. Career-based competitions provide students real-world practice for future employment opportunities while volunteer judges evaluate and offer feedback to our future leaders.

Leadership Days
Leadership Days is a full day of staff-led activities that allow participants to get to know their fellow JMG youth from around the state and gain confidence in themselves.
Recap Video from 2022:

Legislative Days
During Legislative Days youth from around the state have the opportunity to meet with local legislators to share their experiences in the JMG program and advocate for their communities. For many JMG youth, this is an empowering first experience speaking to their local elected officials, providing them with the opportunity to make their voice heard.

National Student Leadership Academy
The Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG) National Student Leadership Academy (NSLA) is a capstone leadership experience for National Career Association state officers and local chapter leaders providing unique experiences through experiential learning, real-world applicability, and networking. Eight youth were selected from Michigan to attend the NSLA in Washington D.C.
