I dropped out of high school and felt I wasn’t going anywhere in life. I felt like I hit a roadblock and that was it for me. When I enrolled in JMG, I was shown a whole new window of opportunity I can pursue. I feel more confident about my future. JMG has changed my life and I will forever be grateful.

TeKeidra Masters knew she wanted to be a surgeon but didn’t know how to get there. JMG helped her find her path. Today she is a first-generation college student attending Valparaiso University and a passionate advocate for her community. TeKeidra was named the Boys and Girls Club 2020-2021 Midwest Regional Youth of the Year. She was also an intern at Youth Solutions, helping to amplify the youth voice in everything we do as an organization.
JMG helped me become aware of who I was. It helped me understand that you are your own person and you have your own identity. It helped me to be strong and that stood with me. I’m Tekeidra, that’s who I am.
