Delann Pillivant- Pershing High School - Alumna of the Year

Delann has consistently shown herself to be someone who cares deeply about others and strives to help others achieve success. While working toward an engineering degree on a full-ride scholarship at the University of Michigan, Delann continues to mentor the robotics program at Pershing High School and all the robotics teams at the Michigan Engineering Dome. She has been an active student in the JMG program participating in statewide events, Coffee with a Purpose, and even helped design and paint a JMG mural in her high school classroom. Delann is a JMG ambassador and exemplifies everything that we strive to teach in JMG.
