Great News From Lansing

We are excited to share that Jobs for Michigan’s Graduates (JMG) programming was included at our requested $3.75M ask in Governor Whitmer’s proposed budget, presented to House and Senate members in mid-February. While this will likely be another long budget cycle due to the ongoing pandemic, we’ve successfully cleared the first hurdle in the state budget process!

We’re actively engaged in Lansing connecting to stakeholders across the executive and legislative branches. To capitalize on our virtual reality, we pivoted our past “Legislative Day” event into a month-long “Careers in Public Service” exploration. We remain grateful to our public sector representatives for their ongoing support.
