Meet Our New Youth Solutions Team Member - Lily Martinez, Director of Integrated Youth Services

Lily Martinez has recently joined Youth Solutions as the Director of Integrated Youth Services, bringing over two decades of experience in workforce development, much of which is rooted in Southwest Michigan. She previously served in leadership at Michigan Works! Berrien Cass Van Buren, a sister subsidiary within the Kinexus Group family, where she focused on regional program strategy, community partnerships, and career development initiatives.

Most recently, Lily led operations at a national leadership development firm, supporting clients nationwide in building stronger teams and developing more effective leaders. She is deeply committed to creating equitable access to career pathways and believes real-world leadership is about the consistent, everyday actions that empower others to thrive.

Lily and her team— which includes JMG Pathways Specialists Tim Nichols, VicShonda Newbern, and Larry Carter— are part of a new integrated youth services team at Youth Solutions, supporting youth in and out of school, guiding them to discover their strengths and connect with high-demand career pathways. The team will focus on coordinating and collaborating with state and local partners at all levels to ensure the needs of all youth in Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren counties have access to the tools and support needed for a successful future.
