Strada Education Network, which has supported our Jobs for Michigan’s Graduates (JMG) programs in Detroit for the past several years, recently notified us of a 3 year, $350,000 grant award in support of our Youth Solutions Select service and JMG expansion. Strada funds will enable Youth Solutions to increase efforts to prepare youth for postsecondary education and employment success through 15 Youth Solutions Select secondary schools and 5 new JMG programs aimed at impacting 4500 youth over the three-year grant period.
For the past several years, United Way of the Lakeshore has supported the JMG program at Muskegon Heights Academy through a work experience grant from DTE Energy. This award was renewed and Youth Solutions will continue to receive $52,000 each year, during the 2 year grant cycle, in support of JMG in Muskegon.
We are grateful for the continued support from these organizations to maintain and expand our programs, services, and impact on youth.
