I’m not currently enrolled but I hope to be this year or next year. When I do enroll, I plan on studying business management.

Why did you join the Youth Advisory Council (YAC)?

I joined the YAC so I could stay connected. I really enjoyed my JMG experience and I wasn’t ready to let that go and I want to be able to help others. Through the Youth Advisory Council and Alumni Network, I am able to do both.

What impact has the JMG program had on you?

The biggest impact JMG had on me was helping me be more confident in many ways. Mainly, it helped me be more confident in public speaking and helped me gain leadership skills and experience.

Why do you believe others should others fund or support the JMG program? Why is JMG important?

I believe JMG should be supported because, JMG helps so many students. JMG taught me leadership and team building skills and how to do a resume. My specialist was always there to help with anything such as FAFSA applications, other types of applications for college, jobs, etc. JMG provides youth the with life experiences that help them prepare for their future. JMG also provides fun volunteer opportunities, along with fun and educational annual events.
