Save the date for our 12th Annual Career Development Conference (CDC) on April 29, 2022 at the Lansing Center! The CDC gives youth the opportunity to showcase the skills they have learned throughout the year in the Jobs for Michigan’s Graduates (JMG) program. This event highlights workplace skills and knowledge, such as marketing, creative problem solving, and interview skills. The success of this event relies a great deal on volunteers to help judge the different events throughout the day. This is a great opportunity to meet JMG youth and help them on their path to achieve a future beyond imagination.
This year we are planning for an in-person CDC. While we hope many youth will join, we recognize that we are still experiencing a lot of uncertainties with the pandemic. We ask all volunteers to be patient with us and our youth as we work through the uncertainty and challenges. More information on volunteer opportunities for CDC will be emailed to our network of partners next week. We hope you will join us.
