One of our four values at Youth Solutions is collaboration. We have never worked alone and we never will. We’re like a family, and we wouldn’t be successful without our partners across the state. This year, we are pleased to welcome Oakland County as our 14th Michigan Works! Affiliate Partner. Youth Solutions will be partnering with the Oakland County Michigan Works! staff and their contractors to serve youth in the Jobs for Michigan’s Graduates (JMG) Out-of-School program. In their first year they have set the goal to serve 50 youth in the JMG program, a number we hope to see climb in future years.
With youth disconnecting from school and/or work at an alarming rate as a result of the pandemic, it’s more important than ever that we expand our partnership network to serve more youth all across the state. We are so excited to have the opportunity to work with Oakland County Michigan Works! and connect youth in their region with skills and resources needed to achieve a future beyond imagination.
